Families and Individuals for Reform
Families and Individuals for Reform ("FAIR") was formed in 2016 to provide adolescent relief from sexual offense registration for close-in age, consensual relationships.
Vision
FAIR envisions a world free from "ineffective consent" laws for adolescents, including public sexual offense registries, residency and proximity restrictions, bars to employment, lifetime labeling, and a criminal record, that is not evidenced or proven to be effective in predicting, preventing or reducing sexually oriented offenses.
Mission
FAIR is committed to promoting and supporting cost-effective, evidence-based policies, practices and laws that balance the need for public safety with the goal of rehabilitation and reintegration of adolescents convicted of consensual sexual acts.
